Counselling services

Everyone’s reasons for seeking counselling are different. You may be feeling anxious, grieving a loss, struggling with relationships, or simply feeling unsure of yourself or your direction in life. I offer a range of counselling and self-awareness support, tailored to your individual needs, in a calm and supportive setting.

Sessions are available in person in Worthing, West Sussex, as well as online.

How counselling can support you

Counselling offers a dedicated space to pause, reflect, and talk openly about what is going on in your life. It is not about being told what to do, but about being supported to understand yourself more clearly and find your own way forward.

Whether you are dealing with ongoing emotional difficulties or navigating a specific life change, counselling can help you develop insight, confidence, and healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.

General counselling

General counselling offers a supportive space to talk through whatever is affecting you right now. You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, low in confidence, or unsure why things feel difficult. You do not need a clear issue or diagnosis to begin. Counselling can help you explore your thoughts and feelings, gain perspective, and find ways forward that feel right for you.

Anxiety counselling

Anxiety can show up as constant worry, racing thoughts, physical tension, or a sense of being on edge. It can affect sleep, relationships, and everyday life. Anxiety counselling offers a calm space to explore what is driving these feelings, helping you understand your anxiety and develop ways to feel more grounded and in control.

Grief and loss counselling

Grief is not always straightforward. It can follow bereavement, relationship endings, life changes, or losses that feel hard to explain. Counselling provides a compassionate space to process loss at your own pace, without pressure to “move on”, helping you make sense of your emotions and find support during difficult times.

Self-awareness counselling and coaching

Self-awareness counselling takes a deeper look at how you experience the world, how you relate to others, and how you see yourself. This approach can help if you feel disconnected, unsure of your direction, or stuck in repeating patterns. It supports greater clarity, confidence, and understanding of what you need in your life.

Relationship and boundary support

Difficulties in relationships can affect self-esteem, confidence, and emotional wellbeing. This may involve partners, family members, friends, or work relationships. Counselling can help you explore relationship patterns, improve communication, and develop healthier boundaries that support your emotional needs.

LGBTQ+ counselling support

I offer inclusive, respectful counselling for LGBTQ+ clients in a space where you can speak openly and feel understood. This support may include exploring identity, relationships, confidence, or life experiences, with counselling tailored to your individual needs and experiences.
